Forest School at Bromet 2023 - 24

Ongoing

As you may already know the school has fantastic some fantastic wild spaces and provides great opportunity for outdoor learning. As part of our fundraising initiatives for this year we have committed to bringing Forest School to Bromet for every pupil to experience this year.

The team from Wild Time Adventures are coming to the school every Tuesday to run up to 6 sessions with each child. This has already started with KS1 and they will work their way up school as the year progresses.Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting. We would be grateful for your support in being able to bring Forest School to the school each year.

Each child will take part in 6 sessions this year at a cost of £3.66 per child per session. The PTFA are committed to funding part of this cost would be grateful for donations to keep this initiative going. We have setup donation options on the website where you can make contributions from £5 up to the full cost of £22 per child. Whatever you are able to contribute will gratefully received. We have already had some great reports from the children who have taken part in forest school and how fun its been!

We hope you can join us in making this year extra special and fun for all the children at Bromet.

How to enter

Once finished, you can then either share your children's entries (no pictures of children please) by tagging our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages, or email them along with completed sponsor forms to us at brometptfa@gmail.com.

Closing date for entries is 28th February, and we will announce the lucky winners the week after. Happy hunting! We look forward to seeing all your amazing treasures...
